After the Fuji Rock Festival, Dylan and I had a couple of days to hang out in Tokyo again. Since were completely exhausted from camping, the rain, and hours of standing up and walking around we decided to slow things down in Tokyo. When you just want to chill in Tokyo, Aoyama is a good place to be.
Dylan and I headed over to Maisen, a tonkatsu house specializing in deep frying Kurobuta (Japanese Berkshire) tenderloins for the world to enjoy.
Kurobuta tenderloin fried to perfection.
Fatty, delicious, fried heaven.
Dylan opted for the katsu oyako-don, literally the child (egg) and mother (chicken katsu) donburi. It was one of the best we've ever had.
I hope we gave you enough reasons to go to Japan.
