Despite Dylan going to the emergency room we truly had a great time relaxing in Florianopolis. Not sure if we'll ever go back anytime soon because traffic in Florianopolis is HORRENDOUS. In Los Angeles we have morning and afterwork traffic jams, they have BEACH TIME traffic jams. When the suns out, so is everyone else.
Trying to get out of Florianopolis to a small town down south was a nightmare. What was suppose to take us an hour, ended up being a 3 hour drive.
Loved that everyone was getting out of their cars.
After the traffic died out, it was all very beautiful.
Our friends who we were meeting in Farol de Santa Marta failed to mention that we need to take a ferry over. Dylan and I were pretty confused here.
Our friends also failed to mention we would be driving along this dirt road FOREVER.
But after driving for 3 hours, we finally found the yellow beach house on the hill. Thanks Al.
Ad men reunite.
Farol de Santa Marta is located south of the city Laguna, 120km from Florianopolis. It is simply breaktaking.
Farol (lighthouse) de Santa Marta.
Feliz ano novo with our Brazilian friends.
While the rest of the kids hung out on the beach, Dylan and I knocked out on the hammock.
We woke up early for one of the best breakfasts on our trip.
We scarfed our breakfast and quickly headed back to Florianopolis to catch our early flight to Buenos Aires. Goodbye Brazil.
