Now that I work in the Galleria, you get to try different places that you don't normally go.   For instance, Mariposa inside Neiman Marcus.  It's located on the 3rd floor of the store. As you sit down, they serve you a tiny little cup.  At first we thought that was a small cup of tea, turns out it's chicken broth. I ordered the pomegranate lemonade.  It's quite tasty.I ordered the quiche florentine, and it comes with a salad and small thing of fruit.  Obviously, they have sandwiches and fuller plates, but if you're in the hurry this works fine.
You will find that if you go there during the weekday and lunch time, most of the seats gets taken up quickly.  Mostly are ladies who lunch.  You'll see a few Herme's Kelly bags on the floor, easily there's several hundred thousand dollars worth of merchandise in that small area.  I will say, if you're in a hurry, you'll need to let the server know.  Otherwise, they think that you're one of the ladies who lunch who has tons of time and be slow with your food.
